About Christoffer
Chef Christoffer Sørensen is the driving force behind the gastronomy at Restaurant Lille Mølle - one of Denmark's most award-winning young chefs and a culinary force that has left his mark on modern Nordic cuisine. Despite his young age, he has already made his mark with honors such as Michelin's Young Chef Award, Dessert of the Year in the Danish Dining Guide (several times) and Dish of the Year, Sea.
Christoffer's culinary journey began as a chef apprentice at Alberto K under Søren Selin, and soon the path led him to Dragsholm Castle, where he worked in the Michelin-starred kitchen for almost ten years - the last years as sous chef. He later became head chef at STUDIO, where he cemented his reputation as one of the country's most creative and ambitious chefs. As a trained chocolatier and competition chef, he has also won several awards and demonstrated his technical skills at the highest level.
But behind the awards is a chef driven first and foremost by a love of ingredients and a deep respect for the rhythm of the seasons. Christoffer describes his kitchen as a playground, where old flavors and memories are reborn through creativity, precision, and close collaboration with local producers. It’s about unlocking the potential of nature’s ingredients—harvesting, fermenting, salting, and pickling—while letting the seasons speak through the plate.
With Lille Mølle, Christoffer has found a setting that truly reflects his vision: a restaurant where the house’s history, the craft of the kitchen, and the guest experience meet seamlessly as one.
For Christoffer, food is more than taste—it is stories, memories, and experiences that linger long after an evening at Lille Mølle.
