Located in the heart of Copenhagen, in the old Snarens neighbourhood, just a few minutes walk from Gammel Strand metro, and on one of the cosiest streets, Kompagnistræde, you will find Norrlyst in an old half-timbered house.

We have decorated Norrlyst with a focus on quality, small details and used food in our decor, so don’t be surprised to see all kinds of jams, oils, vinegars and schnapps on our windowsills.

Our concept is simple: For lunch we serve modern sandwiches which can be enjoyed with one of our many different homemade schnapps and special beers. After lunch we offer both dessert and coffee.

In the evening, the intimate atmosphere is even more apparent in the restaurant and we spoil our guests with our signature menu based on the best seasonal Danish ingredients.

The focus is on the pure flavours of good ingredients and with a vision to offer a gourmet meal for little money.

We change our menu throughout the year, in line with nature, so there is always a connection between what nature has to offer and what we serve on the plate.

Norrlyst has been recognized several times with a Bib Gourmand status and we take pride in staying true to our concept, nature and providing memorable experiences to our guests.
