At Restaurant Norrlyst we interpret the exemplary sandwich cuisine into modern classics, with consideration for animal welfare, sustainability and ecology.

Our smørrebrød is based on the ingredients that are in season during that particular season, and is highly inspired by the nature around us.

We get the ingredients for our sandwiches from small Danish farms. Our meat comes from JN Meat and Hopballe Mølle, where animal welfare is paramount – Responsibility makes for happy animals, and happy animals make for the best taste.

Most of the vegetables we use for our sandwiches are freshly dug up from our local producer Kiselgården in Zealand.

In addition, we get gentle, freshly caught fish delivered every day from Fiskerikajen, which guarantees the highest quality open sandwiches for our guests.
