The view

The tower was built as part of the third and current Christiansborg Palace, which was built between 1907 and 1928. For the first few hundred years, the tower was reserved for pigeons and flag raisers without a fear of heights. But since the Danish Parliament decided in 2014 to open the Tower for visual and gastronomic experiences, everyone has had the opportunity to take in the viewing platform at a height of 44 meters.

Udsigten is administered by the Danish Parliament, inquiries regarding Udsigten should therefore be directed to the Danish Parliament. As Udsigten closes at 21:00, we recommend that you visit Udsigten before booking in the restaurant.

Please note that smoking is not allowed in Udsigten and tableware is not allowed to be brought in.
