Væksthuset, located in the heart of Copenhagen’s Opera Park, offers a very special setting for your Christmas party. With its beautiful views of the park through the large floor-to-ceiling windows and the subtropical forest in the middle of the restaurant, it is an obvious choice for a unique and memorable Christmas lunch. Væksthuset is known for its sustainable cuisine, where local and seasonal ingredients are allowed to shine, and where the food is served in nature-rich surroundings that give a sense of tranquility in the middle of the city.
Christmas lunches are intended for both large and small parties, and here you and your guests can expect a modern and refined interpretation of Christmas flavors. The Greenhouse has even recently received several awards for being 2025’s most cutting-edge architecture with its thematic forests.

As Væksthuset is located on the ground floor, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
At Væksthuset, you are considered a party when you are more than 8 guests. For parties, we ask for a pre-order of menu and drinks as well as information about any allergies and dietary preferences to ensure that the evening goes according to plan. The same menu must be chosen by the entire party, subject to allergies and dietary preferences.
Lunch for parties will always be Chef’s Choice (open sandwiches) unless otherwise agreed.
Lunch: A lunch reservation has a duration of 2 hours 15 minutes.
Evening: our 3-course Opera Menu had a booking duration of 2 hours 15 minutes. Our Greenhouse Menu has a booking duration of 3 hours.
We ask for a small deposit of DKK 100 per person. This is because we hire staff and order ingredients for your visit. The deposit will be deducted from the bill on the evening.

For party reservations, we ask the entire party to choose our set lunch or dinner menu to ensure the best possible experience for you all. Of course, we always take allergens and special dietary requirements into account.
We would like to have your final menu selection no later than 7 days before your visit. For reservations with shorter notice, we ask for the information as soon as possible.
Pre-ordering also applies if a vegetarian menu or main course upgrade is required.
